October 3, 2024
I’ve spent the last few months reflecting back on the word that the Lord gave for 2024, and really seeing much come to pass. In this He spoke of the shaking that would begin to intensify, and I believe anyone who has seen much of what has been being exposed in the church and the world can agree this as being the case. We have been in this place of the Lord exposing, tearing down, and cleansing things built apart from Him. He is removing idolatry that has been set before His people, and men and women who have stolen the affection of His people. One of the key chapters for 2024 was Matthew 24, where at the end we begin to see two distinct groups come forth. The wise, and the foolish. Now what I have been seeing is these two groups are only going to keep becoming more and more clear, and thus why the first chapter I believe is going to be for 2025 is Matthew 25!
Leading up to Feast of Trumpets this year there are actually five chapters I feel the Holy Spirit drawing my attention to. The first as just mentioned is Matthew 25, and what I believe is the anchor chapter where the other four will separate underneath. In Matthew 25 we see a very clear distinction between wise and foolish, faithful and unfaithful stewards, sheep and goats. I believe that based on which group one aligns with will determine what they may encounter in the year to come. So first thing is to list the two groups, and then below each of them there will be two other chapters in the scripture that I believe will expound upon them.
Wise:
The first chapter for the wise is Exodus 25, where we see a few key elements of the Tabernacle. Offerings for the sanctuary (cheerful giver), Ark of the Covenant (His presence), Table of Bread (the Word), the Lampstand (wise virgins). These are what will mark the true houses of God.
The next chapter is what I believe those found in this group will encounter in the year to come, which is the Year of Jubilee found in Leviticus 25. Now many scholars believe that based on when Joshua entered the promised land in 1406 BC, that on the day of Atonement on Oct 12, 2024 when the horns are sounded in Israel it will announce the 70th Jubilee to begin on the first day, of the first month, of the new Hebrew year. This will be March 30, 2025.
Foolish:
The first chapter for the foolish is Numbers 25, where we see Israel's harlotry in Moab. When we clearly understand that there are only two sides then those who are not the Bride, are in fact the harlot.
The second chapter for the foolish is Jeremiah 25, where we see because of the disobedience to hear the word of the Lord, that He is going to place them in exile in Babylon. Those who are not willing to come out of their foolishness and repent are going to encounter a place of confusion. They will reap what they have been sowing.
The Holy Spirit then brought this verse before me as a warning to the foolish.
“Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.” (Revelation 2:5). This is a warning to both individuals as well as churches!
Staying the course of seeing two distinct groups the Lord began to highlight the story of a king found in 2 Kings 18; 2 Chron. 29-32; Isa. 38. It is the story of king Hezekiah, who was 25 when he began to rule. He is one of two kings who not only tore down the idols, but destroyed the high places as well. There is a pattern found in his life that I feel reveals a call from the Lord to His people to follow right now! This story also comes with a warning to guard against pride, and finish well!
The opposite side is what we see in Ezekiel 8, where 25 men are found with their backs to the temple, worshiping a false god. This begins with the Lord showing Ezekiel a breech in the wall, which leads to a door (outside access) to see the cause of this false worship. He saw all kinds of hidden things portrayed on the inner walls (hidden sin), and in verse 12 it says, “Then He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’”
So where in the story of Hezekiah scripture says, “In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the house of the Lord and repaired them.” (2 Chron. 29:3), those in Ezekiel 8 tried to keep it hidden and not let the light come in to cleanse the dark places. Hezekiah's willingness to humble himself and repent caused the Lord to bring restoration. However, those found in Ezekiel ended up coming under the judgment of the Lord!
2025/5= 405, and I immediately heard Isaiah 40:5, “The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, And all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
We are entering into pivotal days as the coming of the Lord Jesus is drawing ever close. He is making a very, very, very clear distinction in His pure and spotless Bride, and the others who are distracted and disconnected from Him. There isn’t much gray area remaining, and what may still be I believe is about to be washed out real quick!
To summarize, I see what’s began to be separated will become even more clear as we move forward.
Group 1- Wise“Jesus said to the people who believed in Him, "You are truly My disciples if you remain faithful to My teachings.” (John 8:31)
Group 2- Foolish
“‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’” (Matthew 15:8-9)
May we all press into these chapters in much diligence through prayer, examine ourselves, not let anything remain hidden, and be a burning and shining Bride for the Lord Jesus Christ!!!
