What Are You Building With?
Posted by Follow Me on
In the Kingdom of God it is important to not just understand the primary thing we are called to build, but understand there is a difference in what we choose to build with. A chapter in the scripture that has really been standing out recently is 1 Corinthians 3. Within this chapter there is so much that I believe is speaking into much of what we are seeing take place in the Body of Christ. Great exposure is taking place, people are being shaken, and sadly many are turning from the faith… but why? I believe the answer is found...

“And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will...

I say this in the Fear of the Lord the call to buy oil is ever drawing to a close and we are entering the time to trim our wick! If your reserve of oil is not being stored up, it must be and quick! Verse 17 says, “When they came down from the mountain, the disciples stood with Jesus on a large, level area, surrounded by many of his followers and by the crowds. There were people from all over Judea and from Jerusalem and from as far north as the seacoasts of Tyre and Sidon.” Now what just looks like three groups, we must look back to verses 12-16 where from His group of disciples He also chose the...

1 Corinthians 3:1-3 “Dear brothers and sisters, when I was with you I couldn’t talk to you as I would to spiritual people. I had to talk as though you belonged to this world or as though you were infants in Christ. I had to feed you with milk, not with solid food, because you weren’t ready for anything stronger. And you still aren’t ready, for you are still controlled by your sinful nature. You are jealous of one another and quarrel with each other. Doesn’t that prove you are controlled by your sinful nature? Aren’t you living like people...
